Until recently, Paintless Dent Repair was the sole process of using metal rods and hand tools to press out dents from the inside of an automotive panel. With new, state of the art adhesives (manufactured exclusively for Superior) we are now able to pull, or extract a large portion of dents to success, or at least to majority, with the remainder removed with the original PDR method.
Advantages of Extraction
1. Traditional PDR process can produce pitting or unatural "orangepeel" look to some repairs. Extraction allows for a soft removal of most or all of the dent, without any "pitting" or evidence of repair.
2. Extraction saves time on larger dents. For small dents or sharp dents, traditional methods may be an advantage due to setup time and speed of removal with traditional PDR. For dents over 2" in diameter, Extraction is an excellent option to consider.
3. Extraction is the only alternative to remove a dent when the panel is sealed or double walled and precludes access. Areas that are impossible to access are often: Door leading edges, door trailing edges, top 1-3" of doors, front/center hood area, roof rails, wheel well lips and more
4. Panel bodyline or rounded corner dents with deep damage, such as truck bed corners, sharp bodyline vertical creases and more. Traditional PDR rods may crack paint in tight, stiff damaged areas, where extraction will pull more metal all at once, distributing stress across a larger area and eliminate paint cracking.
Extraction. Only at Superior.
