$1.9 Million Fraud Lawsuit won By Hyundai

Ace-A-Dent loses...

Gary Bowman refused to comment, but he was linked to a fraud and racketeering case that bilked Hyundai out of almost $2 million..
Bowman and several others based out of the Florida Ace A Dent PDR company were found guilty of fradulently billing for PDR that was never performed (often called ghost-billing in the PDR industry).
According to a bank receipt paper trail an accountant testified that the management funneled most of the revenue into other companies for their own personal use.
Ace A Dent was hired to increase the resale value of these vehicles to at least twice the cost of PDR unless the car has low mileage and was in otherwise in good condition, in which the sale price will be greater, according to the lawsuit.
Ace A Dent stopped working for Hyundai in 1998 when it was discovered that they had overcharged for tens of thousands of dollars of work, and submitted double bills on many occasions. The directors of the company secretly shoveled proceeds off to their own accounts before showing share holders about the actual gains.
